North Fremantle

I went walking with a friend yesterday (because I'm the type of girl that will sit on my bum all day reading blogs if not for an exercise buddy) and I walked down streets I have never walked down before. I love that. I also loved this little bit of whimsy on the front of a fibro house we walked past. So much detail in there. I wish I could have taken a better photo for you but alas, I have no idea where my camera is and fear I may have lost it, so its all iPhone these days, sorry.

There was also a sweet little dog that came out of one of the other homes to say hello and get some stranger love. He totally fit the profile for the kind of dog I want to get too. Lucky owners, lucky I'm not the dog napping type! but I wish I'd thought to take his photo.

  1. That house is amazing! Reminds me of a similar fibro house near ours half covered in an incredibly detailed mural made of shells. Sort of terrifying and glorious all at the same time!!

  2. Hello, I couldnt find your email address so heres the email I was about to send you:

lol, sure you can use '30 yr old boy' !! I had an idea - a crochet checker board (granny squares of course) and round black and white crochet checker game pieces. I wonder how much time I'd need for that....? Does your boy like board games? backgammon was another idea from another comment....

Good luck, and let me know what you decide to make
